Speaker • Business Mentor • Founder, The Entrepreneur’s Voice
Valerie Timms is a seasoned business leader, keynote speaker, and performance coach who has spent more than two decades navigating the sharp edges of real estate, leadership, and entrepreneurship. As the founder and former director of an award winning South Australian real estate brand, and now an agent and advisor within one of Adelaide’s leading agencies, she brings the rare combination of street level experience and board level perspective. Her work centres on helping business owners and high performing professionals move from surviving the rollercoaster to creating a deliberate rhythm in their work and life.
Known for her disarming honesty and story rich presentations, Valerie weaves hard won lessons from business growth, mergers and acquisitions, solo parenting, and personal reinvention into practical frameworks audiences can act on immediately. She talks openly about burnout, resilience, and the hidden costs of success, while offering clear tools for decision making, sales performance, leadership, and exit planning. Audiences describe her as grounded, relatable and sharply insightful—a speaker who “says the thing everyone’s thinking”, then shows them what to do about it.
Beyond the stage, Valerie works closely with business owners, principals and emerging leaders through one to one mentoring and high impact workshops. Her approach blends commercial acumen with genuine care: she is as focused on the quality of her clients’ lives as she is on their bottom line. Whether she’s speaking to a room full of agents, a women in business breakfast, or an executive offsite, Valerie’s message is consistent: you get one life in this body—build a business and career that supports it, not the other way around.
