Valerie's journey began with humble beginnings, fuelled by an unwavering drive to avoid mediocrity. Her determination led her to build one of South Australia’s most successful franchises, Ray White Christies Beach, which consistently ranked as the number one Ray White office in SA/NT for many years. As a long-term elite performer, Valerie’s accolades include multiple Alan White Club memberships and Elite Performer Awards, placing her in the top 3% of salespeople across Australia and New Zealand.

In 2011, Valerie took a bold step by founding her own brand, Timms Real Estate. Over the next 11 years, she built the company from the ground up into a highly respected, innovative enterprise known for its cutting-edge technology and boutique marketing approach. During this time, Valerie wore many hats – recruiter, trainer, innovator and leader. She developed websites, implemented new technologies, and positioned her company at the forefront of Adelaide’s real estate industry.

In 2023, Valerie successfully sold and merged Timms Real Estate with OC Real Estate, showcasing her ability to build, scale and transition a thriving business.
​Now, Valerie is channelling her wealth of experience into empowering real estate professionals, sales experts from various industries, and business owners who want to elevate their performance and sustain long-term success. Her coaching approach is grounded in real-world experience, having personally mentored and nurtured countless individuals to achieve their own success stories. She has navigated business partnerships, weathered the GFC, embraced the rapid advancement of technology in real estate, and never lost sight of the principles of good old-fashioned service.

Valerie’s expertise and commitment to industry development are further demonstrated through her role conducting training at REISA, where she educates the next generation of sales professionals. Her experience extends beyond real estate, with previous positions on the boards of The Hospital Research Foundation and The Repat Foundation, where she led Business Development and HR subcommittees. She has also served on the board of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia.
